NAB's notices to Bilawal, Zardari: PPP top leadership to meet today
PPP top leadership will meet in Karachi over issuance of NAB notices to Bilawal and Asif Zardari.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People s Party (PPP) top leadership will meet in Karachi today (Wednesday) over issuance of notices to party chairman Bilawal Bhutto and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reference.
Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Zardari will jointly preside over the meeting at that Bilawal House in Karachi at 4:00pm. The PPP legal advisers will brief the party leaders over the NAB cases.
The meeting will review the situation arisen after the issuance of NAB notices to Bilawal and Asif Zardari. The PPP will also chalk out strategy to confront NAB notices on legal and political fronts.
On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also called a party meeting at the Parliament House in Islamabad at 1:30pm today to discuss arrest of Khawaja brothers, putting name of Hamza Shahbad on Exit Control List (ECL) and initiation of NAB inquiry against former Minister of State Marriyum Aurangzeb.
